Bei der 14. Auflage haben die Macher des «Club of Newchurch Motorcycle Festival» im österreichischen Neukirchen am Großvenediger musikalisch noch einmal einen draufgelegt!
Letztes Wochenende wurden gleich fünf Bühnen im für den Autoverkehr gesperrten Ort verteilt und von über 15 Bands bespielt.
Dieses Jahr hat sich alles dem Motto: «Bring your first love!» gewidmet! Die Besucher wurden aufgerufen, ihre erste Zweiradliebe nach Neukirchen am Grossvenediger zu bringen! Zu sehen gab es Mofas, Mopeds, Scooters oder Motorräder. Von alten Sachs, Puchs, über 125ccm Kreidler, bis hin zu einer alten Harley Davidson Panhead aus dem Jahr 1949. Natürlich wurden auch die besten und schönsten Bikes prämiert.

Unser Buddy Marc Amacher hat auch am Newchurch die Bühne gerokkt und die Leute trotz schlechtem Wetter zum schwitzen gebracht! Neben Marc standen weitere 16 Bands auf dem Programm und haben den Besucher feinsten Rock’n’Roll geliefert!

Während es vom 16. bis 20. Juni bei der Club-Week geführte Alpentouren gab, startete am Donnerstag das Club-Weekend mit 50 verschiedenen Brands, Custom-Area, Bike-Contests, ein Original Motodrom, Touren, Comedians und natürlich unserem legendären ROKKER-Race auf wilden 125ern und noch wilderen Teams! Auch hier war ein Motto vorgeschrieben, alles drehte sich um einen von dem Team ausgewählten Movie: „RIDE YOUR Movie!“.

8 Teams sind dieses Wochenende in das diesjährige 24-Minuten-Rennen von The Rokker Company gestartet. Natürlich waren wie letztes Jahr nur luftgekühlte, viertakt 125er erlaubt! Aber nicht nur die Rennergebnisse flossen in das Gesamtergebnis, nein, auch der Auftritt der Teams an sich, inklusive Boxengestaltung!

Sehr beliebt waren zudem wieder die Testrides in Neukirchen: Einmal anmelden und über 50 Bikes namhaftester Hersteller auf geführten Probefahrten ausprobieren. Von der neuen Triumph Scrambler, Indian FTR 1200 bis hin zu einer Yamaha MT-09 wurde durch die österreichischen Alpen gejagt!

All das in tiefenentspannter Atmosphäre in einem komplett für Autos gesperrten Ort inmitten tausender Alpenstraßen. Von Fahrern für Fahrer (und deren Familys). Motorräder only. Auch in der 14. Auflage war es eines der größten und entspanntesten Motorrad-Festivals Europas.

At the 14th edition of the «Club of Newchurch Motorcycle Festival» in Neukirchen am Großvenediger, Austria, the makers of the «Club of Newchurch Motorcycle Festival» have added another musical highlight!
Last weekend five stages were distributed in a place closed for car traffic and played by more than 15 bands.
This year everything was dedicated to the motto: «Bring your first love! The visitors were called to bring their first love for two wheels to Neukirchen am Grossvenediger! Mopeds, mopeds, scooters or motorcycles could be seen. From old Sachs, Puchs, over 125ccm Kreidler, up to an old Harley Davidson Panhead from the year 1949. Of course also the best and most beautiful bikes were awarded.

Our buddy Marc Amacher also rocked the stage at Newchurch and made people sweat despite the bad weather! Beside Marc there were 16 other bands on the program and delivered the visitors finest Rock’n’Roll!

While there were guided alpine tours at the Club-Week from 16th to 20th June, the Club-Weekend started on Thursday with 50 different brands, custom area, bike contests, an original Motodrom, tours, comedians and of course our legendary ROKKER-Race on wild 125cc and even wilder teams! Also here a motto was prescribed, everything revolved around a movie selected by the team: «RIDE YOUR Movie!

8 teams started this weekend in the 24-minute race of The Rokker Company. Of course, like last year, only air-cooled, four-stroke 125s were allowed! But not only the race results flowed into the overall result, no, also the appearance of the teams themselves, including pit design!

The test rides in Neukirchen were also very popular: Register once and try out over 50 bikes from the most renowned manufacturers on guided test rides. From the new Triumph Scrambler, Indian FTR 1200 up to a Yamaha MT-09, it was chased through the Austrian Alps!

All this in a deeply relaxed atmosphere in a place completely closed to cars in the midst of thousands of alpine roads. From drivers for drivers (and their families). Motorcycles only. Also in the 14th edition it was one of the biggest and most relaxed motorcycle festivals in Europe.
