The shop is located in the old town of St.Gallen, Switzerland. In a very old building (approx. 200-300 years old) with a vaulted cellar in the basement. What used to be the cellar of the property. The Jeanswerk is with approx. 350 square meters very large. There you will certainly find what you are looking for!
The Jeanswerk has been around for some time, but the shop was taken over in autumn 2012 and moved on with the name Jeanswerk. However, the concept of the shop has changed completely.
Managing Director Matt Leuthold has been with the company for almost 4 years now. Jeanswerk stands primarily for denim and boots. The focus is clearly on the quality and sustainability of the products. It also works closely with the makers and owners of various brands. You won’t find any fastfashion here, and you won’t find any fashion that’s common. The store is rather timeless and imperishable. They have specialized in raw denim. These are unwashed jeans as they were first made for workers at the end of 1800. The denims are woven, cut out and made up on old looms. However, washed trousers are also available. But the washing should not be too fancy. The outerwear looks similar. Here, too, they focus on classic fashion. Over jackets, shirts or normal T-shirts they pull through this philosophy. Of course they round off the whole assortment with various accessories. Here you will find everything from handmade leather wallets to stylish headgear and handmade flies.
The pick of the month at Jeanswerk is definitely the WAX COTTON RANGER VEST. It fits perfectly into the everyday life, as well as on the motorcycle. It has been delivered very fresh and has already been bought by the employees. Many thanks for that!
