On Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th of September, the Roll n Flat Beach Race Caorle threw us back to the times of 30s, 40s and 50s. A sprint race in the sand, where cars and motorcycles compete against each other in style. Not only car and motorcycle races, but the whole event from Friday onwards everything in the style of those years: snack bars, music, clothing.

Due to the many visitors last year, the event started this year already on Friday afternoon. It hummed, shook and smelled like gasoline. Everywhere hot rods, old American cars of the 40s, 50s, 60s and motorcycles with manual gears! When the rain gave us a short break, we started in a train to the main sponsor BCC. For the fingers there was fine food, for the throat cold beer. And for the petrol connoisseur, Boccin’s workshop gives the safe feeling that they are screwing with heart and soul. Absolutely worth seeing garage!

In the evening we went back to the beach, where the boxes were already booming, the guitars were rattling and we were thrown back into the 50s.

On Saturday we started early in bright sunshine and felt 30 degrees Celsius. First a few test runs, fine tuning of the carburettor and of course the air out of the tyres before it got serious.
Where the view was enough, cars and motorcycles were to be seen.

The event ended on Saturday evening with the award ceremony and a burlesque show. A top organized and peaceful event directly at the sea is now history. Caorle 2020, we are there again!

Am Freitag, dem 6. und Samstag, dem 7. September, hat uns das Roll n Flat Beach Race Caorle in die Zeit der 30er, 40er und 50er zurückversetzt. Ein Sprint-Rennen im Sand, bei dem Autos und Motorräder mit Stil gegeneinander antreten. Nicht nur Auto- und Motorradrennen, sondern die ganze Veranstaltung schon ab Freitag war alles im Stil jener Jahre: Imbissbuden, Musik, Kleidung.

Aufgrund der vielen Besuchern letztes Jahr, begann der Event dieses Jahr bereits am Freitagnachmittag. Es brummte, rüttelte und es roch nach Benzin. Überall Hot Rods, alte amerikanische Autos der 50er, 60er und Motorräder mit Handschaltung! Als Frau Holle uns eine kurze Pause schenkte, ging es in einem Zug los zum Hauptsponsor BCC. Für die Finger gab es feinen Food, für den Schlund kaltes Bier. Und für den Benzingeniesser gab es in Boccin’s Werkstatt das sichere Gefühl, dass hier mit Herz und Seele geschraubt wird. Absolut sehenswerte Garage!

Am Abend ging es wieder zurück an Strand, wo bereits die Boxen dröhnten, die Gitarren knatterten und einem direkt in die 50er zurückwarfen.

Am Samstag ging es dann früh los bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und gefühlten 30 Grad. Zuerst ein paar Testläufe, Feineinstellung des Vergasers und natürlich die Luft raus aus den Reifen bevor es dann ernst wurde.

Wohin der Blick reichte, waren Autos und Motorräder zu sehen.

Der Event wurde am Samstagabend bei Traumwetter mit der Siegerehrung und anschliessend einer Burlesque Show beendet. Ein top organisierter und friedlicher Event direkt am Meer ist nun Geschichte. Caorle 2020, wir sind wieder dabei!
